Dr Madeline Maupin Hicks

Dr Hicks had a private dental practice for more than 20 years in Louisville, Kentucky.  The goals of her practice included teaching prevention, providing corrective restoration and excellent esthetics with integrity and compassion.

After shoulder surgery in 2004, she had to end her private practice.  Since then, she has taught dentistry part-time.  She has also spent time in community service and ministry.  She earned a degree in Discipleship and Family Ministry with a minor in Worship from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in May of 2016.

Madeline has been involved in prison ministry for the past twenty years with Creation Prison Music Ministries.  She has facilitated Bible studies and has participated in prayer and music ministry for many years in Louisville.  Her current ministry focus is to children and moms at a downtown low income housing complex.

Madeline has participated in short-term mission trips to Kaduna and Benin City, Nigeria; Aloha Allege and Rio de Janerio, Brazil; Tomashu, Warsaw and Krakow, Poland; Schekino and Vorshiy, Russia; and in Tegucigalp, Honduras and many surrounding towns and villages. 

Madeline is the mother of one son, Chester, Jr (Charlita), and grandmother to their three children Elijah, Elana, and Malachi.

Over the years Madeline has enjoyed the journey of building customer homes and remodeling established homes and condos that are in dis-repair and out of date.
